Privacy Policy

This policy describes how basefun handles information across the basefun website (basefun.tech) and the basefun Android application, which displays the same website. The short version: basefun is non-custodial, has no user accounts, and collects as little data as technically possible.

Who we are

basefun is a decentralized token launchpad interface for the Base blockchain. The website and the Android app (package tech.basefun.app) are a front-end for publicly accessible smart contracts. We do not operate user accounts, wallets, or custody of any funds.

Data we do not collect

No accounts
There is no sign-up, login, email, phone number, or password anywhere on basefun.
No private keys
Your wallet keys never touch our systems. All transactions are signed locally in your own wallet application.
No identity data
We do not collect names, addresses, government IDs, or any other personally identifying information.
No advertising trackers
We do not run third-party advertising SDKs, ad pixels, or cross-site tracking.

Data that is processed

Operating a website on the open internet involves a minimal amount of technical data:

Public blockchain data
When you connect a wallet, its public address is used to read balances and display your positions. Wallet addresses and transactions are public information recorded on the Base blockchain by design — they are not created or controlled by basefun and cannot be deleted by anyone.
Standard server logs
Like virtually every website, our hosting infrastructure may temporarily log IP addresses and browser user-agent strings for security, abuse prevention, and debugging. These logs are not used to build user profiles and are rotated automatically.
Local preferences
Interface preferences (for example, pinned markets) are stored locally in your browser's storage on your own device. They never leave your device and you can clear them at any time through your browser settings.

Third-party services

The interface communicates with third-party infrastructure that is necessary for a Web3 application to function: blockchain RPC providers (to read and broadcast transactions), price oracle networks (to display market prices), and wallet connection protocols such as WalletConnect (to link your wallet). Each of these services has its own privacy policy and may process your IP address and wallet address as part of providing the service. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for marketing purposes.

The Android app

The basefun Android app is a Trusted Web Activity: a thin wrapper that displays basefun.tech in full screen. It collects no data of its own, requests no device permissions beyond internet access, and contains no SDKs other than the standard Android web components. Everything described in this policy applies identically to the app and the website.

Financial disclaimer

basefun is a software interface, not a financial service, exchange, or broker. Interacting with blockchain tokens involves significant risk, including total loss of funds. Nothing on basefun constitutes financial advice. You are solely responsible for your transactions, which are executed by your own wallet against public smart contracts.

Children

basefun is not directed at children and is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly process any information from minors.
